Wide & Abnormal Load movements w/c 11 November

AIL movements in relation to the Sizewell C Project.

On Tuesday 12 November, there are five wide load movements planned:

The first load is the removal of an excavator from the Temporary Construction Area. This load is expected to depart at 09:00am.

The second and third loads are deliveries of excavators to the Main Constructions Area and are expected to arrive at 10:00am and 11:00am.

The fourth load is tool storage being delivered to the Southern Park and Ride at Hacheston. This load is expected to arrive at 11:00am.

The fifth and final wide load on Tuesday is the removal of an excavator from the Temporary Construction Area. This load is expected to depart at 15:00pm and will be police escorted.

On Thursday 14 November there are four wide loads planned.

The first three loads are all collections of equipment from the Main Construction Area and are expected to depart at 12noon (x2) and 13:00pm.

These loads will all be police escorted and will follow the designated route to and from site – Lovers Lane, B1122 West and A12.

The fourth load is a delivery of an excavator to the Temporary Construction Area and is expected to arrive at 09:00.

These loads will all be police escorted and will follow the designated route to and from site – A12, B1122 East and Lovers Lane.

On Friday 15 November, there are two wide load movements planned.

The first load is delivering a bulldozer to the Temporary Construction Area. These loads are expected to arrive at 11:00 am.  This will be police escorted.

This load will follow the designated route to and from site – A12, B1122 East and Lovers Lane

The second load is the removal of an excavator from the Temporary Construction Area. This load is expected to depart at 13:00 pm.  This will be police escorted.

This load will follow the designated route to and from site – Lovers Lane, B1122 West and A12.
